MANASSAS, VA, Aug 7 (LSN) – Religion Today recently interviewed Eric Harrah, a former owner or partial owner of 26 U.S. abortion mills who told them “abortion is about making money.” Harrah said that abortion was “easy money,” with abortionists making “roughly $100,000 a year for performing abortions one day a week at a clinic.” Interestingly Harrah said that some insurance companies offer “incentives” for abortions “because they would rather pay $2,000 for the procedure than $7,000 for prenatal care, labor,  and delivery.  “While some become enmeshed in the abortion industry “because they really feel it is helping women, (they) convert to the fact that it’s all about money,” he said.  Eric Harrah converted to Christianity and left his former occupation last November after the prayers and help of pro-lifers and especially Steve Stupar, an elder at State College Assembly of God. Harrah encourages pro-lifers to continue in their peaceful and loving ways. He encouragingly recalls that pro-lifers “came to me and didn’t ridicule me or call me names, but reached out to me. It gets through to them eventually. I know, it got through to me.”
