In the May 18 LifeSite News the National Post was quoted as reporting that Bishop Paul-Andre Durocher of Sault Ste. Marie opposed the funding of the march. Since then the Post has issued a correction written by Bishop Durocher himself.  In the letter, Bishop Durocher writes, “I stand with my diocesan bishop, Jean-Louis Plouffe, in solidarity with the decision of the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops. A decision supporting the March of Women.”
