LifeSite reported on May 2 that bill C-23 had passed second reading in the Senate. In fact,  second reading debate of the bill started on May 2 and is continuing. Once passed second reading, it will be reviewed by the Senate Legal and Constitutional Affairs Committee,  returning to the Upper Chamber for third reading and a final vote.
