(LifeSiteNews) — On this week’s episode of The Van Maren Show, Jonathon has a phone conversation with conservative commentator Dennis Prager about the most recent volume of his The Rational Bible commentary and why ignorance of the Bible hurts society politically, culturally, and spiritually.
Although Prager is Jewish and thus not Christian, his commentaries on the Torah, the first five books of the Old Testament, are “incredibly fascinating because they provide new insights,” as Jonathon puts it.

People have forgotten, because we live in the secular age of foolishness, that wisdom needs to be taught just like physics or math. People think they get wise just because they’re living. Some people do, but we all have to learn wisdom. And the earlier you teach it to children, the better.
