OTTAWA, Jan 29, (LSN)—Abortionist Richard Neale was recently appointed by the General Medical Council – Britain’s governing body – to study medical practices in the U.K. and police incompetent doctors. However, his appointment has come under fire as his past has been revealed. Neale, a former Canadian resident and abortionist, was ordered by the B.C. College of Physicians and Surgeons to withdraw from practice or take further training in 1979. Instead, Neale moved to Toronto, where he performed abortions till he was stripped of his Ontario licence to practice medicine in 1985 for a botched abortion in which his patient died. In 1987 he returned to Ontario to seek re-instatement but was rejected.
