July 16, 2018 (LifeSiteNews) – LifeSite, along with our partners at Voice of the Family, is running a pilgrimage to Rome on October 17-21 for faithful Catholic young adults aged 18-29. We will be sponsoring up to 25 attendees who wish to give their lives in service of Christ and His Church.

The journey, coinciding with the Vatican’s Youth Synod, will be a witness to faithful adherence to the unchangeable teachings of the Faith.

On October 18, LifeSite will offer a leadership formation program with focused training for the apostolate. On October 19, faithful and experienced tour guides will lead the young adults on a pilgrimage to Rome’s holiest sites to pray for the Church in crisis. On October 20, they will join a Youth Conference organized by Voice of the Family, concluding with All-Night Adoration. That will be followed by a Traditional Latin Mass with Cardinal Raymond Burke on the morning of October 21.

Applicants are required to submit a resume demonstrating active commitment to pro-life and pro-family activism, answer a series of questions describing their faith and commitment to the Church, and take part in an interview.

The Voice of the Family Youth Conference on October 20 will be addressed by Cardinal Raymond Burke who will be willing to answer questions from the young people. In addition to Cardinal Burke, the young people will get the inside scoop on vocations to marriage, priesthood and religious life from speakers in those vocations who have also dedicated themselves to addressing the crisis in the Church.

All-Night Adoration will give pilgrims a chance take on that challenge first hand by offering their prayers and sacrifices for a return to orthodoxy in the Church.

Successful applicants will be provided airfare to and from Rome, accommodation for 5 nights in a shared hotel room with breakfast, lunch for the 3 event days, and dinner for the 3 event nights. Applicants who wish to stay longer must cover the added expenses.

Applications are due August 1.
