WASHINGTON, Sept 1 (LSN) – The Family Policy Network (FPN) reported last week that the Walt Disney Company has begun to feel the effects of the pro-family boycott enacted against it by leading Christian organizations including the Southern Baptist denomination for its outrageous promotion of homosexuality and promiscuity. The boycott has also been actively promoted by the American Family Association. Disney initially dismissed the boycott as inconsequential, but recent revelations suggest otherwise.  Disney Chairman Michael Eisner appeared on 60 Minutes and admitted that the boycott was actually having an effect, though still trying to play down the impact. “Well, you’ve got me here trying to respond to it.  So to that extent, it has some effect,” he said in response to questioning on the boycott’s results.  FPN also reports that the Texas State Board of Education recently dumped over $46 million in Disney shares “citing concerns with the company’s objectionable movie releases.” Moreover, in a recent survey of over 100,000 readers, USA Today found that 49.5% agreed with the boycott.
