CANADA (LSN) – “Catholics of Vision: Canada” is a nominally Roman Catholic group calling for liberal changes in Church doctrine, including changing attitudes towards contraception and abortion. The group has fallen far short of its goal to get 100,000 signatures on a petition calling for changes in the Church. In a message to the Canadian bishops, they said, “Any contention that the 5,910 responses indicate minimal support for the substance of the statement must be rejected.”
