WASHINGTON, D.C., January 12, 2016 (LifeSiteNews) – Pro-life activists are pushing back this afternoon against the narrative that women need abortion to get ahead in the world.

At 3:00 Eastern today, Secular Pro-Life is encouraging women to Tweet #NoReliance as a rejoinder to the Center for Reproductive Rights' amicus brief citing “Janice Macavoy, Janie Schulman, and over 110 other women in the legal profession who have exercised their constitutional right to an abortion…”

According to the pro-abortion brief, “Amici obtained their abortions at different ages and life stages, under a variety of circumstances, and for a range of reasons both medical and personal, but they are united in their strongly-held belief that they would not have been able to achieve the personal or professional successes they have achieved were it not for their ability to obtain safe and legal abortions.”

Secular Pro-life says this abortion industry talking point is bunk, and they want women to push back against the Center. “It's time for professional women who got where we are without killing anybody to speak out,” says the Tweetfest's official Facebook page. “Dead babies are not the price to pay for female success in the workforce. The idea that mothers cannot succeed in law, politics, or the arts is deeply misogynistic and offensive.”
