SAN BERNARDINO, May 7, 2003 (LifeSiteNews.com) – The California state Medical Board has revoked a doctor’s medical license based on a botched 1997 abortion that nearly killed his 17-year-old patient. He punctured her uterus and pulled out 3 to 5 feet of her intestines during the abortion, after which she spent 9 days in intensive care.  At the time, Dr. Philip B. Pierre-Louis was charged with gross negligence, incompetence, unprofessional conduct and failure to maintain adequate medical records following the abortion. He was placed on four years probation and fined $5,000 for the incident with the teenage girl, according to Medical Board records. He has since disappeared.  For local coverage:  https://www.sbsun.com/Stories/0,1413,208~12588~1374093,00.html   For LifeSite coverage of a similar botched abortion:  BOTCHED ABORTION DOCTOR STILL ON MEDICAL REGISTER https://www.lifesitenews.com/ldn/2003/apr/03040907.html
