CANTERBURY, November 14, 2003 (LifeSiteNews.com) – A group of Anglican bishops from developing countries, known as Primates of the Global South, is developing a plan to excommunicate the Episcopal Church USA and the Anglican Church of Canada from the Worldwide Anglican Communion, due to their intransigent departures from Christian faith and morals. The majority of Primates of the Anglican Communion, more than 25, most of whom represent millions of Anglicans in developing countries, are fully prepared to break communion with Williams.  It is the first attempt to rein in liberal North American bishops who “seemingly answer to no one,” such as Vancouver bishop Michael Ingham and the American bishops who created a practicing homosexual bishop who left his wife and lives with a male sexual partner.  “We call on current ECUSA bishops to reaffirm the traditional teaching of the church on marriage, as confirmed in previous General Conventions and House of Bishops Meetings (i.e. General Convention 1979 and House of Bishops 1977) by not condoning or permitting the public use of rites of same-sex blessings and by refusing to ordain practicing homosexuals,” says the document, leaked to the Christian news source VIRTUOSITY.  For more coverage:  https://orthodoxanglican.org
