OTTAWA (LifeSiteNews) – A branch of the Canadian federal government of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau used a travel ban targeting only the vaccine free as a means to try and boost COVID jab rates, documents show.

According to Transport Canada’s internal documents, a briefing submitted to Transport Minister Omar Alghabra dated October 2, 2021, said the COVID jab travel mandate would help illicit “very strong impetus to drive vaccination.”

Shortly after the briefing, Alghabra signed an October 2021 memorandum from Transport Canada’s Safety and Security Group that allowed the COVID travel jab mandate to come into force.

The memo stated that “an indirect benefit is that it should act as a catalyst to increase Canada’s overall vaccination rate.”

The information regarding Trudeau’s COVID jab mandates was filed in a federal court and came to light as a result of multiple lawsuits against the travel ban mandate.

The Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms (JCCF) is pressing ahead with its legal fight against the travel ban for the jab free.

Maxime Bernier, the head of the People’s Party of Canada (PPC), is currently challenging Canada’s injection travel mandate in court. He chose not to get the jabs and has been a vocal opponent of all mandates.

Canada’s Chief Public Health Officer Dr. Theresa Tam earlier this year claimed that COVID jab mandates were a factor in increasing jab rates.

“There’s now obvious evidence that they work,” Tam said in February.

“We saw a plateau in the uptake of vaccines after a really tremendous effort by Canadians, and then after the introduction of vaccine mandates by the various provinces and territories and jurisdictions, we did see an uptick.”

The push for the jab mandates for travel came despite briefing notes stating clearly that the risks of in-fight transmission of the virus was low.

“While it is true that air travel can result in the importation of passengers with COVID-19, the risk of spread of COVID-19 amongst passengers while traveling aboard aircraft appears to be low,” said a note from November  2020 noted called Risk of COVID-19 Transmission Aboard Aircraft.

On June 20, the Trudeau government “suspended” the COVID jab travel mandate after pushback from within his own Liberal Party as well as from industry groups and Conservative Party MPs.

Unvaccinated foreign nationals are still barred from entry into Canada, the government claims, “because vaccination rates and virus control in other countries varies significantly.

Last August, the Trudeau government announced that all air, rail, and sea travelers would have to have the COVID jabs or be barred from travel. Those who were jab-free would not be allowed to board a plane even if they had a negative COVID test result.

The rule went into effect in December 2021. A similar mandate for truckers, sending the unjabbed into quarantine after crossing the U.S. border into Canada, went into effect in January 2022. This resulted in truckers fighting back in the form of the Freedom Convoy.

According to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS), through June there have been more than 1.2 million injuries reported related to the COVID shots.

According to two recent medical studies from Europe, it is blood damage that explains the many harmful impacts of COVID shots.

All the COVID jabs approved for use in Canada are still experimental, with clinical trials not being completed until 2023.

The COVID jab trials have never produced evidence that vaccines stop infection or transmission. They do not even claim to reduce hospitalization, but the measurement of success is its alleged ability to prevent severe symptoms of COVID-19.
