LONDON, April 8, 2014 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Jessie J, the singer of the worldwide pop hit “Domino,” has come out of the closet: she says she is straight and looking to settle down with a man.

The 26-year-old said her time as a professed bisexual “was a phase.”

She spoke out about her omnivorous sexual orientation in the past but now says, “I want to stop talking about it completely now and find myself a husband.”

On Twitter, she said she had to set the record straight, so to speak, because “I feel that if I continue my career not speaking on it, I almost feel more of a liar than if I didn’t.”

The British-born singer, whose birth name is Jessica Ellen Cornish, said she does not believe all bisexuals are going through a phase, and “I do support being lesbian/gay/bisexual/transgender.” But she no longer numbers herself among that group.

Jessie is far from the only young woman to change her mind about her sexuality after experiencing homosexual feelings.

A study of 13,840 young people found that two-thirds of those who described themselves as “unsure” of their sexuality later described themselves as exclusively, fixed heterosexuals.

Another study found that 75 percent of people aged 17-21 who experienced same-sex attraction later found those feelings waned, and they were exclusively heterosexual.
