NEW YORK, Feb 15 (LifeSiteNews) – The highly popular radio show host, Dr. Laura Schlesinger, has received death threats for speaking out against homosexual marriage and describing homosexuality as a deviant sexual orientation, reports the Conservative News Service. Homosexualist activist groups are exerting pressure to shut up the radio celebrity, attempting to thwart her upcoming TV show to debut this fall.
Paramount Television, which is developing a syndicated TV show with Schlesinger, met yesterday with the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) to hear their concerns about Dr. Laura. Responding to the activities against her, the Jewish radio host said: “To my way of thinking, their well-organized campaign against my freedom of speech is rhetorical thuggery at best and religious persecution at worst.”
