(LifeSiteNews) – In a recent interview with LifeSiteNews editor-in-chief John-Henry Westen, Dr. Peter McCullough, one of America’s leading physicians on the early treatment of COVID-19, listed five important scientific truths about the Wuhan coronavirus.

McCullough said the following points are “five key messages of scientific truth that I’d want everybody to understand about the virus and the pandemic. They’re fairly straightforward.”

McCullough also spoke at the Truth for Health Foundation’s “Stop the Shot” conference, which was live-streamed by LifeSiteNews, today.

1. COVID-19 is NOT spread asymptomatically

Dr. McCullough started off by debunking the common belief that asymptomatic people can pass on the disease to others and insisted that only people showing symptoms are actually contagious.

“The virus is not spread asymptomatically. Only sick people give it to other people.”

2. Asymptomatic people should not get tested

In a second point, he addressed the issue of testing asymptomatic people, arguing that this practice generates false data on COVID-19 cases:

“All we’re doing is generating false positives, creating extra cases, and creating extra concerns. The FDA never approved these tests for asymptomatic testing. The WHO as of June 25th has said ‘no asymptomatic testing.’”

He went on to urge asymptomatic people not to get tested: “There shouldn’t be a single person on earth that should undergo an asymptomatic test …people just ought to walk past those testing stations.”

When prompted to clarify whether that also applies to testing for international travel, he replied, “For any reason. It violates WHO [directives].”

3. Natural immunity is robust complete and durable

The third point Dr. McCullough addressed was the question of natural immunity, which he qualified as “robust, complete, and durable,” thus casting out any fear that one can contract a serious case of the disease more than once and rejecting another common myth on COVID.

“There is no meaningful chance of having a second serious case of COVID,” McCullough told LifeSite. “In fact, it’s never happened in a confirmed case so far in the world.”

He then went on to address the many reported cases of people having contracted COVID more than one time, stating: “any of the purported cases that have come up have involved misinterpretation of a false positive PCR test. It doesn’t happen. If it did happen, we would have seen thousands if not millions of people being hospitalized over and over again for COVID-19. It hasn’t happened. It fundamentally doesn’t happen.”

To illustrate his third point even more clearly, he concluded his comment on natural immunity with the following image: “Someone who is naturally immune can walk up to someone with COVID-19, get a big cough in the face, and they’re not going to get the illness.”

4. COVID-19, no matter what variant, is easily treatable at home

Treating COVID-19 has been the focus of Dr. McCullough’s work since the beginning of the pandemic.

Last year, he was censored on YouTube for promoting a treatment that could have reduced fatalities by 85%.

He re-iterated once more that early treatment can make the difference between life and death: “About 85% of hospitalizations and deaths are completely avoidable with early treatment. The only way people end-up in the hospital and have a miserable time is when they receive no treatment: they don’t sick treatment or they are not offered treatment and they end up railroaded into the hospital after being sick two weeks at home.”

He also urged people who contract COVID-19 not to wait to seek treatment, insisting that “anybody with common sense should understand that it’s easy to treat the illness when it’s early and the symptoms are mild. It becomes progressively worse as people progress in the disease.”

He concluded his fourth point by deploring the fact that hospitalization and lack of treatment are often synonymous with death: “In the end people die of blood clots. And it’s very hard to reverse those. That’s the reason why, if we wait till hospitalization, it’s too late. If we wait for the oxygen levels to be low because of blood clots in the lungs, it’s too late.”

5. Current COVID-19 vaccines are obsolete and should be considered unfit for human use

Last but not least, the physician addressed the question of COVID vaccines.

According to McCullough, the currently available vaccines – like the AstraZeneca, Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, and Moderna shots – are “obsolete.”

“They do not cover the new variants; patients are failing on these vaccines. They’re being hospitalised and getting sick despite having had the vaccines,” he said, adding, “the vaccines at this point in time have amounted to record mortality and injury and should be considered unsafe and unfit for human use.”
