(LifeSiteNews) — Dr. Robert Malone asserted that a frightful hypothesis advanced by Dr. Geert Vanden Bossche — that a highly virulent COVID variant will develop as a result of the mass vaccination campaign — is “wrong.” In response, Vanden Bossche has invited Malone to debate the question publicly.
In a May 18 interview with Australian journalist Maria Zeee, Vanden Bossche predicted “an explosion” of this new virulent COVID variant within highly vaccinated countries “in the next two months.” And after its initial escape, “it will go very, very fast” throughout the population, primarily victimizing the vaccinated, causing enormously high numbers of hospitalizations, crashing the health care system, and bringing about “chaos.”
The Belgian veterinarian scientist, whose résumé includes roles as a former senior officer of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation as well as a senior program manager for the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization (GAVI), has been considered one of the most talented vaccine creators in the world.
According to his theory, the resulting suppression of innate immunity in the many individuals who have been injected with these experimental products — which neither eradicate nor prevent transmission of the virus — leads to “immune escape.”
This concept proposes that vaccinated people will continue to be infected with and shed the virus, which due to the “pressure” exerted by experimental COVID-19 vaccines will accumulate large numbers of mutations, in turn creating variants that are far more virulent and can no longer be controlled by the vaccines.
In addition, Vanden Bossche hypothesizes that the vaccinated themselves will be particularly vulnerable to these dangerous variants since the specific antibodies these millions of people have acquired to combat the original COVID-19 virus will compete with and weaken their natural immunity while providing no protection against these new highly virulent and infectious variants.
The WHO Pandemic Treaty looks set to be one of the biggest power-grabs in living memory, with unelected globalists seeking the power to declare pandemics, and then control your country's response.

Ludicrously, 20 world leaders calling for the treaty, including Tedros, Boris Johnson and Emmanuel Macron, compared the post-Covid world to the post-WWII period, saying similar co-operation is now needed to "dispel the temptations of isolationism and nationalism, and to address the challenges that could only be achieved together in the spirit of solidarity and co-operation - namely peace, prosperity, health and security."
Australian PM Scott Morrison is the latest leader to express support for a “pandemic treaty”.
The stated intention of the WHO is to “kickstart a global process to draft and negotiate a convention, agreement or other international instrument under the Constitution of the World Health Organization to strengthen pandemic prevention, preparedness and response.”
The wheels are already in motion, with the Biden administration officially proposing the initial steps towards handing global pandemic control to the WHO.
Biden's representatives have submitted amendments to the WHO's International Health Regulations (IHR), which would give the Director General the right to declare health emergencies in any nation, even when disputed by the country in question.
These amendments, which would be legally binding under international law, will be voted on by the World Health Assembly (the governing body of the WHO) at a special convention running from May 22-28 and set the stage for a fully-fledged pandemic treaty to be passed.

The ball has been rolling since the last World Health Assembly meeting in December, where the United States launched negotiations "on a new international health instrument on pandemic prevention, preparedness, and response," a U.S. statement read.

"We know it will take all of us working together across governments, private sector, philanthropy, academia, and civil society to make rapid progress towards a long-term solution for these complex problems," the U.S. statement added.

Dr. Robert Malone: ‘So, I’ve been wrong [and] Geert Vanden Bossche has been wrong’
However, Dr. Malone told a Texas government hearing in late June that instead of the development of mutant variants being fostered in the vaccinated per se, “that those with immune deficiencies … often become chronically infected with omicron, and these appear — according to the science [in] the latest publications—to be the individuals that are disproportionately driving the development of the escape mutants.”
“So, I’ve been wrong [and] Geert Vanden Bossche has been wrong,” the mRNA technology pioneer said. “It’s not happening necessarily in all of us because we’ve been vaccinated or have been previously infected. It appears that the evolution is happening in people who are immunocompromised in some way so that they become chronically infected or reinfected with omicron.”
Elucidating this statement on a July 15 episode of the Highwire, Dr. Malone conditioned his assertion, saying, “This is what the latest literature is showing. But just because it’s out in one or two papers doesn’t mean it’s necessarily true. I mean, that’s the nature of science. It’s this back-and-forth.”
This being said, “what we’re seeing is in the immunosuppressed, they become chronically infected and those are the people that seem to be generating the escape mutants.”
Nevertheless, Malone emphasized that the vaccines themselves cause damage to the immune system, leaving their recipients with greater vulnerability to the virus.
“The multiply-jabbed are developing a general immunodeficiency in both B and T responses against omicron,” he said. “It’s the highly vaccinated that are getting repeatedly infected by the omicron, and chronically infected by omicron.”
Vanden Bossche ‘completely baffled,’ maintains ‘a dramatic crisis in highly vaccinated countries’ to happen ‘soon’
In response to this assessment, Vanden Bossche said in a July 22 Twitter thread that he was “completely baffled” by Malone’s conclusions: “Tt is extremely difficult to grasp why he (suddenly) thought it would be important to reverse course and publicly negate my insights on this phenomenon.”

The Belgian scientist was likely referring to a June 4 Epoch Times interview of both Vanden Bossche and Malone, where the latter stopped short of affirming Vanden Bossche’s theory of mutations becoming more virulent due to the vaccination campaign but appeared open to learning more.
After explaining his own position, and the general scientific understanding of how and why a virus such as COVID-19 would normally become “more benign” and transmissible over time, Malone said he was “really intrigued to learn more about Geert and his theories.”
“My [present] relationship to his ideas are more those of a student wanting to learn rather than a dynamic conflict,” he said.
In his tweet thread, Vanden Bossche recalled how “during our prior interactions” Malone acknowledged “he was learning from me. However, without proposing dialogue or debate regarding this critical issue … [he] goes down this path without so much as referencing the specific literature that led to this change in stance.”
Stating he had sought to contact Malone “in private to address this vital issue,” Vanden Bossche said he was “unable to elicit a response” and thus proposed a public debate on the topic.
“This is not about ego – this is about understanding the underlying mechanism of what I soon predict will cause a dramatic crisis in highly vaccinated countries,” he concluded.
Critics say Vanden Bossche hypothesis lacks concrete evidence
During the same Epoch Times interview, Vanden Bossche conceded that his theory “is to some extent based on hypothesis, of course, but I try to base this hypothesis on sound concepts that are known in science.”
In March 2021, Vanden Bossche first announced his theory by issuing an open letter and video warning of a “global catastrophe without equal” due to the role out of these experimental COVID-19 vaccination programs.
At the time, his models came under criticism from many scientists and medical experts who themselves were also fully opposed to at least the broad use of the COVID-19 gene-based vaccines.
Rosemary Frei, a Canadian medical writer and journalist with a master’s degree in molecular biology, issued a strong critique, asserting the Vanden Bossche thesis was based upon “unproven hypotheses” similar to, and building upon, “the overall Covid deception” that employs “high-profile modeling-papers,” such as that from the discredited Neil Ferguson, whose work in early 2020 inflamed fears justifying disastrous lockdowns across the world.
In addition, former Pfizer vice president and chief science officer Dr. Michael Yeadon told LifeSiteNews in June that he is “a bit skeptical” of Vanden Bossche’s approach. Contradicting the Belgian researcher’s initial paper around the same time last year, Yeadon co-authored an article explaining the evolutionary tendency of such viruses causes them “to become less deadly and more transmissible” over time.
“I also don’t accept that the low percentage changes between one variant and another is a plausible difference enough to fool our immune systems that they’re under attack from a virus we’ve not seen before [allowing ‘immune escape’],” the British national explained.
Yeadon also pointed out a seeming lack of evidence for highly virulent variants, underscoring that thus far “there’s little question that the infected and recovered don’t get clinically ill even if exposed to a new variant.”
Regardless, the former pharmaceutical executive later commented that “Geert and I are on the same side,” and that he very much appreciates Vanden Bossche’s “battling for early treatments and exposing bad science on the part of Fauci and others.”
