Duck Dynasty's Phil Robertson was on Good Morning America on September 2nd promoting his new book titled “unPHILtered” when he was asked by the interviewer if he was a “homophobe.”

“I’m as much of a homophobe as Jesus was,” Robertson said. “People who are participating in homosexual behavior, they need to know that I love them.”

The iconic reality show star and father of the Robertson clan became the focus of homosexual activists' derision for calling homosexual behavior a sin.

In controversial comments to GQ magazine in December, Robertson described the complementary anatomy of men and women, in rather graphic and blunt language, that leads to natural attraction.

Beyond that, Robertson responded to the question, “What, in your mind, is sinful?”

“Start with homosexual behavior and just morph out from there,” he told GQ. “Bestiality, sleeping around with this woman and that woman and that woman and those men.”

“Don’t be deceived,” he added, paraphrasing Scripture. “Neither the adulterers, the idolaters, the male prostitutes, the homosexual offenders, the greedy, the drunkards, the slanderers, the swindlers—they won’t inherit the kingdom of God. Don’t deceive yourself. It’s not right.”
