TUSCON, Ariz., Dec 8 (LSN)  Environmental activist Rodney Coronado who is to be released from prison in six months after serving time for his eco-terrorist activities is being praised by environmentalists.  Coronado proudly admits to bombings (research laboratories and offices dealing with animal research),  vandalism (smashing and spray painting fur dealerships), theft (“releasing” animals from farms), sabotage (sinking whaling ships) and attempting bodily harm (spiking trees). Despite such a legacy, environmental journals such as Earth First Journal, No Compromise, and Live Wild or Die have lauded Coronado.  Coronado, like many radical environmental activists perceives man as merely another equal with other life forms on the planet. Sounding very similar to population control pundits like Ted Turner, Coronado said in a Globe and Mail interview on Saturday, “The path we are on is leading us not just to environmental collapse but to moral and ethical collapse.”
