January 3, 2005 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Junkscience.com publisher Steven Milloy has been decrying the callous exploitation of the tsunami tragedy by global warming, anti-development eco-extremists.

January 3 article published on Fox News, the National Post and other prominent media, Milloy stated “Environmental activists are shamelessly trying to exploit last week’s earthquake-tsunami catastrophe in hopes of advancing their global warming and anti-development agendas”.

Milloy provides evidence contradicting the claims of the eco-extremists and exposing their apparent lack of genuine concern for the welfare of the people in the nations devastated by the tsunami. He writes, “It’s bad enough that environmentalists continually try to advance their agendas based on what can only be described as comically wrong information. But what’s really troubling is that they seem hell-bent on denying poor nations the opportunity to develop economically so as to pull themselves out of their abject poverty”.
