Our many new subscribers and other readers may be unfamiliar with the staffing and other logistics involved in publishing this world class daily news service. The expense of this requires that we undertake these quarterly fundraising campaigns which just barely pay our bills.
Very briefly for now, we have a staff of 11 journalists in five nations, some of whom also have extensive management duties, plus two full-time support staff, a top grade three person technical team and several other part-time support staff. And then we have substantial equipment, hosting service and other costs. All this adds up to several hundred thousand dollars per year for a quality of service that would normally cost at least twice that. Our workers are extremely dedicated to this mission.
