TALLINN, September 26, 2001 (LSN.ca) – On Tuesday, the Estonian government proposed pro-abortion measures that would abolish the need for parental consent for abortions on minors. The government press office released a statement noting that the amendments to the abortion law were proposed on the assumption that when a girl is capable of becoming pregnant she should be able to make her own decisions.
