NEW YORK, Jan 2, 2001 (LSN.ca) – Rev. John Hardon, a very well known US Catholic priest – a champion for pro-lifers and homeschoolers – died Saturday December 30. In an article soon to appear in the Wanderer, Thomas Droleskey describes Fr. Hardon as “on the front lines of the pro-life movement” and one who “spoke out against the evils of contraception without compromise, understanding that the denial of the Sovereignty of God over the sanctity of marital relations is what led directly to the killing of innocent babies in their mothers’ wombs under cover of civil law.”

Renowned for his kindness and patience, Fr. Hardon was totally opposed to sex education in the classroom. Moreover he was an untiring proponent of homeschooling.
