(LifeSiteNews) — Father Chad Ripperger has just released a powerful new prayer consecrating the upcoming election in the United States to the Blessed Virgin Mary. Father announced the prayer while appearing on Doug Barry’s U.S. Grace Force show on Tuesday, September 3.
Among other things, Ripperger’s prayer asks Mary to assist with “the integrity of the upcoming election and its outcome, so that what is spiritually and morally best for the citizens of our country may be accomplished.” It also begs elected officials to “govern according to the spiritual and moral principles which will bring our nation into conformity with the teachings of Thy Son.”

The controversial 2020 presidential election four years ago saw widespread allegations of cheating and other forms of interference, including Big Tech censorship. This year has witnessed a failed assassination attempt on Donald Trump’s life and a forced removal of Democratic nominee Joe Biden from the ticket, prompting accusations of a coup by sinister forces.
Last week, GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump came out in favor of forcing insurance companies to cover the anti-life practice of in-vitro fertilization, which is contrary to Catholic moral teaching. He has also repeatedly expressed support for the pro-LGBT Log Cabin Republicans and directed the removal of support for a federal abortion ban from the GOP’s platform. His VP pick JD Vance has said he will veto such a bill if it ever lands on his desk. Bishop Joseph Strickland stated on X recently that Trump’s support for IVF means that “we are left without a profoundly pro-life candidate.”
Ripperger’s prayer (which can be read in its entirety below) seems to be aware of all this as well as the radically pro-LGBT and pro-abortion and anti-Catholic policies of Kamala Harris.
“Knowing that our country cannot be saved by our own works and mindful of how much our nation has departed from the ways of Thy Son, we humbly ask that Thou wouldst turn Thine eyes upon our country to bring about its conversion,” it reads.
During a recent appearance on Virgin Most Powerful Radio with hosts Jesse Romero and Terry Barber, Ripperger recalled that many people are telling him that “right now we’ve got, for example, candidates who are not perfect: one actually holds stuff that’s really evil, another guy holds stuff that’s also evil, but it’s not as bad,’ etc.”
Ripperger proceeded to state that when it comes to Catholics and voting, “the basic principle is, in a situation like that, then your obligation is to vote for the lesser of two evils. And the reason being is because … when you’re voting for a lesser evil, you’re not voting for the person’s evil or the evil that the thing is doing. What you’re voting to is to preserve the good that would be lost if the other opponent got in, who’s more evil.”
Below is the prayer in full:
Mary Immaculate, living tabernacle of the Divinity, where the eternal Wisdom lies hidden to be adored and served by angels and men, Queen of heaven and of earth, beneath whose sway are subject all things that are lower than God, Patroness of the United States of America, sorrowful and mindful of our own sinfulness and the sins of our nation, we come to Thee, our refuge and hope. Knowing that our country cannot be saved by our own works and mindful of how much our nation has departed from the ways of Thy Son, we humbly ask that Thou wouldst turn Thine eyes upon our country to bring about its conversion. We consecrate to Thee the integrity of the upcoming election and its outcome, so that what is spiritually and morally best for the citizens of our country may be accomplished, and that all of those who are elected would govern according to the spiritual and moral principles which will bring our nation into conformity with the teachings of Thy Son. Give grace to the citizens of this land so that they will choose leaders according to the Sacred Heart of Thy Son, that His glory may be made manifest, lest we be given the leaders we deserve. Trusting in the providential care of God the Father and Thy maternal care, we have perfect confidence that Thou wilt take care of us and will not leave us forsaken. O Mary Immaculate, pray for us. Amen.
