Fatima conference led by Cardinal Burke to offer rays of hope in this troubled world
SAN DIEGO, California, August 14, 2017 (LifeSiteNews) – Much has been made in the media about a decline in morality and the confusion within the Church.
Many are gravely worried about these issues and other more personal matters, such as the salvation of loved ones who may have left the faith. Indeed, nowadays the very salvation of the world seems to be at stake.
This has never been more evident than from the confusion on Catholic teaching generated by some members of the clergy.
This year marks the 100th anniversary of the apparitions of Our Lady of Fatima. And while Our Lady’s message was apocalyptic in tone, the centennial provides a blessed, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to reflect upon her heavenly visit and to refocus on the divine plan she presented to the three young visionaries in 1917.
Even 100 years ago, Our Lady warned of the sacrileges and offenses that would be committed against the Sacred Heart of Jesus and against Her Immaculate Heart. She asked the faithful to pray to make reparation for these sins and also for the apathy that so many would have toward God and his truth.
But the faithful are to remember, Our Lady not only gave the divine strategy to overcome the world and make reparation for sin when she appeared at Fatima, she also gave the promise of victory.
Catholics and all believers can learn what their role is in this divine strategy by attending the Fatima Centennial Summit 2017 on October 6-7, in Dallas, Texas, under the patronage of His Eminence, Cardinal Raymond Burke.
Renowned speakers will offer insightful analysis of the Fatima message along with practical application for attendees.
The event will also feature the Miraculous International Pilgrim Virgin statue of Our Lady of Fatima, the release of a new book on the wonders of the Pilgrim Virgin, and a preview of a new Fatima movie.
The Summit will also include First Friday Mass, a Rosary procession and the Holy Rosary led by Cardinal Burke.
LifeSiteNews Editor-in-Chief and co-founder John-Henry Westen will be among the presenters. The keynote will be Cardinal Burke, who will also celebrate Holy Mass.
Thomas McKenna, the group’s president, told LifeSiteNews “with Cardinal Burke presiding, the Summit is shaping up to be the most important conference to close out the Fatima Centenary.”

Our Lady also gave the faithful the promise of victory at Fatima when she stated, “In the end, My Immaculate Heart will triumph!”
