TAMPA, September 2, 2003 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Michael Schiavo may have ordered his long-term disabled wife, Terri Schindler-Schiavo, out of hospital, but he can’t stop U.S. District Judge Richard A. Lazzara from ordering new hearings into her case.  A September 2 hearing failed to resolve the matter, but Terry’s parents, who believe therapy deserves a chance when the alternative is forced starvation, will have another opportunity to present their arguments later on in September, thanks to a ruling .  Christopher A. Ferrara, a lawyer with the American Catholic Lawyers Association, is arguing on the parents’ behalf that Terry’s husband is a “rogue guardian” who violated federal laws such as the Americans with Disabilities Act “by withholding medical treatment and refusing to allow her to fed by mouth,” WorldNetDaily reports.  For WorldNetDaily coverage:  https://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=34353   For previous LifeSite coverage:  https://www.lifesitenews.com/ldn/2003/aug/03082703.html
