TALLAHASSEE, Fla, May 1 (LSN) – The Florida Senate approved a measure Wednesday to allow a pro-life specialty licence plate after an amazing effort by the pro-life group Choose Life Inc. The group collected over 10,000 signatures to support the measure and also raised the $30,000 (US) development fee required. The bright yellow plate includes a drawing of a smiling boy and girl with the logo “Choose Life.” Three fourths of the proceeds from the $20/year tags will go to the care of mothers and infants in need while the rest will go to support adoption services. The Florida House is expected to approve the measure shortly as it has a majority of Republicans.
