PRINCETON, NJ, Sept 15 (LifeSiteNews.com) – US Presidential candidate Steve Forbes, a Princeton alumnus and on the school’s board of trustees, rejected suggestions by pro-life Princeton students that he halt his funding of the school due to the hiring of pro-infanticide professor Peter Singer. Princeton Students Against Infanticide led by Christopher Benek was disappointed that Forbes would not withdraw his funding and referred to a letter he had written the school’s president objecting to Singer’s hiring as being only a token gesture.

Forbes who has attempted to appeal to pro-lifers during his campaign has failed repeatedly to impress pro-life audiences due to his exceptions for abortions in the cases of rape and incest.  The Washington Times reports that a large rally protesting Mr. Singer is scheduled for Sept.  21 in front of Princeton’s administration building.
