FORMER CHINESE POPULATION CONTROL OFFICIAL RECOUNTS HORRORS TO U.S. CONGRESS

WASHINGTON, June 11 (LSN) – Gao Xiao Duan, a former worker in a government “birth control office” in China,  testified before the U.S. Congress Wednesday that China’s one-child policy has resulted in horrific human-  rights abuses, including forced abortions and sterilizations, the killing of live-born babies, the imprisonment of offending women, and the destruction of their homes. Congressmen also heard that Duan’s population-control office paid for information on “illegal” pregnancies.  A video smuggled out of the country showed the birth control office, including an operating room for abortions and a jail cell for noncompliant women.  “I did so many brutal things…. All those…years I was a monster… injuring others by carrying out the Chinese Communist authorities’ barbaric planned birth policy,’’ Gao confessed.
