PHOENIX, Arizona, March 18, 2009 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Two more Planned Parenthood abortion facilities in Phoenix, AZ, have been caught on tape illegally covering up statutory rape, which they are legally obligated to report.

The new video is the fourth in a series of interstate sting operations dubbed “the Mona Lisa Project” by Live Action Media, a group of college students who are working to expose a pattern of illicit behavior by the abortion giant.  The video and audio footage of the latest installment show more Planned Parenthood employees neglecting to report statutory rape, as required by law.

Lila Rose and Jackie Stollar, both college students posing as 15-year-old girls, told employee “Erica” at the first Planned Parenthood that Stollar needed an abortion because her much older boyfriend had impregnated her.  The girl expressed concern that she would be interrogated about her boyfriend’s age, as he was “a lot older” than she. The staffer, however, simply dismissed her fears.

Arizona state law requires law enforcement to be contacted immediately if an adult-child relationship is revealed.

“So like, if he came and paid for it, like with her, that wouldn’t be an issue?” Rose asked.  “No.  We don’t ask any questions,” Erica responded.

Erica referred the girls to a second Arizona Planned Parenthood in order to obtain a judicial bypass for her abortion as a minor.  There, Rose told Planned Parenthood staffer “Suzy” that the boyfriend was 27 years old.

The staffer emphasized that, “The main concern is that nobody’s forcing you to do something you don’t want to do,” and said she would not intervene.

“All I could give you is either advise you or help you out. I can’t say, ‘Don’t,’ … or ‘I’m gonna go and do this,’ I cannot be that way. It’s not me,” she said.

“You think it’s okay if I tell [the Planned Parenthood counselor] that?” asked one of the girls, speaking of the boyfriend’s age.  “Yeah, I mean, you know, everything is confidential,” said the staffer.

In December 2008, the Mona Lisa Project exposed similar cases at two Planned Parenthood abortion facilities in Indiana. As public scrutiny mounted, both abortion centers either fired or suspended employees, and state prosecutors launched investigations into Planned Parenthood of Indiana.

Live Action exposed similar behavior in a Tucson, Arizona abortion mill, and handed the footage over to the state attorney general and the county attorney.  Arizona Planned Parenthood has not apologized or admitted wrongdoing. (https://www.liveaction.org/monalisa/tucson)

Live Action pointed out that in 2002 an Arizona judge found the Planned Parenthood negligent for failing to report the sexual abuse of a 13-year-old girl by her 23-year-old foster brother.

“By keeping information about rapists confidential, Planned Parenthood enables sexual predators to continue violating young girls. If Arizona state authorities investigate Planned Parenthood’s statutory rape reporting practices, they can help bring an end to these crimes,” said Live Action’s president Lila Rose.
