April 27, 2018 (LifeSiteNews) – Parents should “be aware” that in many schools, their children are in danger of being exposed to pornographic material through sex ed lessons, Franklin Graham warned.

On April 23, parents in the U.S., U.K., Canada, and Australia pulled their kids from school in a “sex ed sit-out” protesting the various sex ed programs that promote anal sex, promiscuity, contraception, transgenderism, homosexuality, and the use of fruit and vegetables as “sex toys.”

That same day, Graham, son of the famed evangelist Billy Graham, urged his Facebook followers to “know what is being taught in your child’s school and be prepared to walk out. I encourage you to be involved, know what's going on, and let your voice be heard.”

“Parents be aware: Your children are in danger of being exposed to ‘Pornography 101’ under the guise of sex education in many schools,” he cautioned.

David and Jason Benham also endorsed the sex ed sit-out, writing that radical abortion and homosexual activists are pushing “perversion” on the “developing hearts and minds of our next generation” and “if people don’t speak up now, our kids will suffer greatly.”

Elizabeth Johnston, the “Activist Mommy” blogger who organized the sit out, told LifeSiteNews there were public events corresponding to the sit-out in about a dozen cities in the U.S., U.K., Canada, and Australia.

Johnston encouraged parents to make sure school absences as part of the sit-out were unexcused, so the school systems would lose money.

She reported that at one charter school in California, 60 percent of the student body participated in the sit out.
