SAN FRANCISCO, April 8, 2011 (LifeSiteNews.com) – House Minority Leader and top pro-abortion advocate Rep. Nancy Pelosi will be hosting an event for alumni of the Jesuit-run Georgetown University in San Francisco.

Pelosi, who gave a commencement speech at Georgetown in 2002 and three of whose children are alumni there, is scheduled to host a “conversation on innovation” with business professor Clay Christiansen on April 30 for the Georgetown University Alumni Association’s (GUAA) John Carroll Weekend.

The Cardinal Newman Society, a Catholic university watchdog, drew attention the event hosted by Pelosi, who has won a reputation as a 100 percent pro-abortion lawmaker as scored by NARAL Pro-Choice America.

The congresswoman is also famous for flaunting her Catholic faith despite her pro-abortion activities, and even claiming that the Catholic faith is compatible with supporting the legalized killing of unborn children.

GUAA did not respond to a request for comment from LifeSiteNews.com.
