GEORGIA NIXES ANTI-SODOMY LAW
ATLANTA, Nov 24 (LSN) – Georgia’s top court ruled today that the State’s laws banning unnatural sexual practices violated the right to privacy. Homosexual activists cheered the decision and hoped that it would encourage the US Supreme Court to void all such state laws. Twelve years ago in a challenge to Georgia’s law, the U.S. Supreme Court upheld Georgia’s law against sodomy.
