COLOGNE, Germany Jan 13 (LifeSiteNews.com) – In an effort to discourage the production and sale of the abortion pill in Germany, Cardinal Joachim Meisner of Cologne compared RU-486 to the Zyklon B nerve gas used by the Nazis in World War II.  Catholic World News reported yesterday that in comments to Bunte, a popular German magazine, the cardinal said, “It would be an unspeakable tragedy if at the end of this century the chemical industry would come up in Germany with a means to kill a certain, legally isolated group.”
