TORONTO, Apr 6 (LSN) – Front and centre on the editorial page of Saturday’s Globe and Mail, the newspaper promoted an article entitled “A modest, gay proposal.” Contributor Morton Rapp argues that “the greatest threat to human survival is overpopulation,” and that the solution is genetic engineering to ensure that most people would be homosexual, with enough heterosexuals simply to ensure survival of the race.

“A civilization populated by homosexuals could have some hope of achieving a stable population,  which then opens the door to the possibility of a virtual Utopia on Earth,” he writes. While heterosexuals would “have to be kept around as breeding stock,” Rapp notes that “control over their reproductive capacity, in both quantity and quality” would have to be “backed up by the force of law.”  Pro-life, pro-family media watchers are outraged that the Globe, a paper known for the promotion of homosexuality, would stoop so low as to give credence to this nonsense by reproducing it without critical comment.  To voice your concern with the wanton anti-family actions of the Globe write to:  William Thorsell, Editor-in-Chief [email protected]   Colin Mackenzie, Managing Editor [email protected]   Letters to The Editor [email protected]   * Be sure to include your name, mailing address and daytime phone number.
