MISSISSAUGA, ON, June 19 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Parents of grade school students in Mississauga are upset over a lesbian teacher’s discussion of lesbianism with her class. The Toronto Star reported last week that the Elmcrest Public School teacher told her two grade 4 classes that she was a lesbian and “answered questions from the 10-year-olds.” The school principal apologized to parents noting that the teacher acted without “clearing the announcement with her principal and the school’s parent council.”
Peel District School Board spokesman Brian Woodland said that the teacher’s action “was no doubt a mistake,” but pro-family activists are not so sure. Homosexual activism in schools has been rampant recently in North America with a report only two weeks ago that a 1st grade teacher in the Boston area revealed to his class that he was homosexual. The Boston Herald reported that the teacher also claimed the talk was not planned.
The American Family Association is urging US state governors to investigate whether their schools are being used by homosexual activists to indoctrinate children without parental knowledge. The action is prompted in part by the explosive situation in Massachusetts where three homosexual activists gave an explicit ‘how-to’ demonstration on homosexual sex acts to children as young as 14.
