FORT MEYRS, Florida, Mar 1 (Lifesitenews.com) Lee County Sheriff John McDougall continues to raise the ire of American pro-aborts while warming the hearts of pro-lifers for his staunch defence of preborn children both privately and in his capacity as a Sheriff.
The latest incident to generate controversy was his participation in the annual Edison Festival of Light parade. He placed a pro-life sign in the window of his car as he drove in the parade. Predictably, people who believe public officials don’t have the right to express their views condemned the action. Not one to quake before pro-abort intolerance, Mr. McDougall retorted: “I still have a right to free speech.” He vowed to march on foot next to the parade with his sign if he couldn’t ride in the parade with it.
