HAWAII, Jan 14 (LSN) – An 18-member Governor’s Blue Ribbon Panel was asked to study the issue of “Living and Dying with Dignity.” The panel said yesterday that Hawaii residents may get a chance to vote on the issue of assisted suicide.  However, panel members suggested that more in-depth discussion by the panel and the public is vital.  The final report is to be given to Gov. Ben Cayetano or the state Legislature, and then the controversial topic is headed for the ballot.
