Heroic Media, a pro-life organization that uses multimedia to present life-affirming resources to pregnant women, is launching its second adoption commercial with an online campaign in partnership with The Gladney Center for Adoption. Heroic Media pioneered pro-life advertising on adoption with its 2012 launch of “The Adoption Option” on the Oxygen Network. This continues a successful partnership with the Gladney Center that began in 2013.

The newest ad features a young woman sharing her positive experience of placing her child for adoption, stating that she has made a plan to finish school and the adoptive family she chose will raise her baby “and love her forever”. Heroic Media has partnered with The Gladney Center for Adoption to promote the ad on YouTube where women seeking more information on adoption can click to contact an adoption counselor directly.

Approximately 1,000,000 abortions occur each year in the United States with only 18,000 infant adoptions finalized. Through hopeful educational messages, Heroic Media seeks to educate women facing unexpected pregnancies regarding the life-affirming options available to them, including the option of adoption.

In 2014, Heroic Media and The Gladney Center for Adoption have partnered to generate over 124,683 connections to adoption information through educational Internet ads.

“This new message continues a successful partnership to share adoption information with women facing unexpected pregnancies,” said Marissa Cope, Director of Special Projects at Heroic Media. “We believe that women deserve to know about all of the options available to them, and we are grateful for the opportunity to connect more women with information and support as they consider adoption as one of those options.”

“The Adoption Option” video, which is also posted on Heroic Media’s website, is one of Heroic Media’s most successful ads, launched in 2012.
