ERFURT, Germany, April 29, 2002 (LSN.ca) – Robert Steinhauser, the former student who killed 16 people and injured 10 others in a shooting massacre at a high school in Germany was heavily involved in violent computer video games. Der Spiegel magazine reports that Steinhauser spent much of his time playing the games with his favourite being Counterstrike” in which anti-terror units wearing masks battle each other to death. Steinhauser also wore a black mask and dark clothes to carry out his attack.
