TURLOCK, California, Dec 13 ( – Practicing homosexuals Barrie Drewitt, and Tony Barlow of England, made legal history in being declared the legal parents of twins born Sunday in California. A US Supreme Court judge decided to allow the two men to be placed on the birth certificates of the children as parents without mention of a mother. The baby boy and girl were the products of a paid surrogacy arrangement using the sperm of both men.

The British pair paid American company Growing Generations nearly half a million (Canadian)  dollars to produce the twins. The company, located in Turlock California advertises on the Internet as the “first and only gay and lesbian owned surrogacy firm exclusively serving the gay community worldwide.” The agency is run by lesbian Gail Taylor, and Will Halm, a homosexual lawyer.
