OTTAWA, Feb 14, 2001 (LSN.ca) – Homosexual activist MP Svend Robinson today introduced a bill to permit homosexual marriage. A press release from Robinson indicates that he has “solid support from his federal New Democrat caucus colleagues, including Leader Alexa McDonough.” The bill is also supported by Liberal MPs Carolyn Bennett, Bill Graham, and BQ MP Réal Menard.
