(LifeSiteNews) — Editor’s note: The fourth installment of our exclusive interview with LifeSite’s newest pro-life advocate, Alexandria Schumacher, is here! To wrap up this series, Alexandria shares her biggest dreams for what she hopes to accomplish with LifeSite and her passion for advancing LifeSite’s worldwide impact in the pro-life and pro-family movement. Read on to hear her message for LifeSite readers and donors, and stay tuned tomorrow for one last special installment.

Leslie: Working at LifeSite means touching the lives of millions of people around the world, many of them with very different beliefs than us. Does working at LifeSite help you see something unique about what it means to be human?

Alexandria: I’ve found that a common factor can be seen in every generation: to matter and be seen. In many ways, this simple phrase captures what it means to be human and ties together a sense of purpose and expression of the soul.

Leslie: People want to make an impact on things that matter to them.

Alexandria: Exactly. Life is made meaningful by living out our purpose.

Leslie: That’s beautiful, Alexandria. Do you have a motto you live by that reminds you why you do what you do?

Alexandria: I live by the motto “Cor Ad Cor” which translated to English means “Heart to Heart.” There is an alarming decline in our culture of truly valuing one another and I want to help change that.

Leslie: That’s a great motto! I can tell that you are ready to make personal connections with our donors. What will your day-to-day activities look like to personalize the giving process for our benefactors?

Alexandria: My day-to-day will involve connecting with our donors on a personal level via phone calls, letters, and one-on-one quality time. It is important for me to hear their stories and understand what motivates them to be part of such important work.

Leslie: We love your dedication and desire to make a personal connection. It’s something that has been lost in the digital age and the era of widespread lockdowns.

Alexandria: I absolutely agree. Our donors support us in our endeavors to spread truth to the world as we bring to light issues surrounding family, freedom, and life. It’s my privilege to care for our donors as they also heroically fight the good fight.

Leslie: It’s so clear that you care deeply about making a personal connection. How else do you plan to spend your time bridging donor intent with the LifeSite mission?

Alexandria: As Donor Relations Officer for LifeSiteNews I intend to bridge donor intent in three ways:

  1. Increase LifeSite’s international impact to build a culture of life for all of our readers and viewers by working every day with our biggest financial supporters
  2. Celebrate LifeSite’s historic milestones with those who make them possible
  3. Connect our entire LifeSite family, for whom we pray every morning as an entire organization – members from the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Africa, and South America

Leslie: It’s great that you see your position as a mission rather than just a job. We can’t wait to see how this helps you foster a personal connection with our donors!

Alexandria: It’s a joy to be a part of the LifeSiteNews team. I have the pleasure of speaking to the hearts of people courageously living in the world. I pray that these conversations will be helpful in connecting our donors to the purpose God has designed for them.

Leslie: Alexandria, we love your heartfelt energy and enthusiasm for the pro-life and pro-family movement. If there’s anything you could say to our donors reading this interview right now, what would it be?

Alexandria: Just this: there is a very special bond that is created when people come together to work for a cause that is bigger than ourselves. With sincere gratitude, I thank you, for being a part of the LifeSiteNews Family.

Leslie: Thanks again for sitting down with us, Alexandria! It was a pleasure to get to know a little more about you.

Alexandria: Thank you so much, Leslie! We are all in this together, defending and advocating for pro-life and pro-family heroes who fight against forces that threaten our families, our freedom, our faith and the respect for human life. I can’t wait begin work with our dedicated team and beloved donors to keep spreading LifeSite’s mission!

We hope you enjoyed this four-part interview getting to know Alexandria Schumacher. Tomorrow, there will be one last special installment, and we can’t wait to tell you how you can get exclusive access. You won’t want to miss it!
