ROME, Aug 18 (LSN) – The August 31 edition of New American magazine reveals that most of the powerful non-  governmental organizations (NGOs) at the UN Conference on the Establishment of an International Criminal Court were motivated by a desire for one world government. The leader of one of the most globalist NGOs,  the World Federalist Movement (WFM), proclaimed “WE WON!” at the close of the ICC conference. William Pace, the WFM representative at the Rome conference, claimed leadership over “hundreds of non-governmental organizations representing civil society from all corners of the world.”  The New American reported that the funding and strategic leadership for the successful venture came from long-time promoters of one-world government including the Ford, Rockefeller, Carnegie, and MacArthur foundations, the UN itself, the European Commission and the Council on Foreign Relations. Having triumphed in this initial stage, Pace vowed to continue to work hard until the document is ratified by the countries which have agreed to the international treaty. “As it has done in Rome, civil society will hold States to account and insist that the Statute come into force promptly,” said Pace.  See the New American article at:  https://www.thenewamerican.com/tna/1998/vo14no18/vo14no18_global.htm
