UNITED NATIONS, Oct 9 (LSN) – The Catholic Family and Human Rights Institute reported today that the UN’s International Criminal Court (ICC) may be up and running before long. A group called No Peace Without Justice (NPWJ), along with various Member States of the UN General Assembly, have commenced an aggressive campaign for quick ratification of the ICC.  The group hopes to get the ratification of the treaty by the required minimum of 60 nations by the year 2,000. CAFHRI says that “A Manual for Legislators” will be mailed to 30,000 parliamentarians across the globe as part of the effort.
