News

Dear Friends,

$7,400.  That is how much some generous readers have donated so far to ensure LifeSiteNews is able to continue its mission throughout the summer.

We are VERY grateful to those of you who have contributed to this campaign, and to all the donors who have provided us with a total of $82,000 to date this calendar year, including a $10,000 gift given in the name of a recently deceased strong supporter.

Considering that our annual costs are in excess of $350,000, we will need many more contributions from readers to cover our summer expenses.

And so, if you have not yet donated, and you read our reports and believe they make a difference, then please make a membership gift or standard donation today to help us continue this service.

Because our readers pay the bills, it is mostly up to you how LifeSiteNews will continue, and where LSN will be in the future.

It is a constant struggle to meet the costs of running this international life and family issues news service, nevertheless, we have BIG plans that we are hoping to put into action if YOU make them happen.

If you donate now, not only will you help us fund our reporting throughout the summer, you will also be helping LSN to grow to the NEXT level in reporting, with planned developments such as:

  • revamped homepage with new functionality and improved appearance
  • the addition of a reader's comment section
  • a second email option, which will provide readers with a concise, more graphical summary of our reports
  • new writers in North America and other countries to provide you with on-site reporting and better insight into international developments
  • videos and original LSN media

This type of cutting edge web site and email news service, coupled with our experience in top-notch pro-life and pro-family reporting, will help bring more people to know the truth about the most important issues in the world.

It is so evident how much influence the large media agencies have on our culture.  They swing voter opinion against pro-life politicians while glorifying those who promote the culture of death, continually painting the pro-life and pro-family movement with a negative brush.

This is where our mission lies: to counter this bias by promoting a culture of life and family through fearless and informative reporting, so that far more people will finally have a chance to be exposed to the truth, which will allow them to make better informed decisions.

So please, give generously knowing that your money will be used:

  • Today, to continue to DIRECTLY influence the Culture through our fearless and informative reporting
  • Tomorrow, to achieve the NEXT level in professional reporting so that we can reach many more people

And remember that you can put your donation towards one of our five new membership levels.  Membership donations are the same as regular donations in that they are used to fund our budget and new developments.

But Members additionally receive unique benefits that place them in a closer relationship with our organization – a positive thing for both members and the LSN staff.

And you can make a one-time donation to become a member for one year, or start a monthly member recurring gift (the best way to support our mission).

Whether it is with a membership gift or a standard donation, please help us fund the summer portion of our annual budget with a generous contribution today.

For Life and Family,

John-Henry Westen
Editor-in-Chief and Co-Founder
LifeSiteNews.com

P.S. Please help fund LSN through the summer and into the next level of professional reporting by making a Membership Gift or a standard donation today.

* Note:Unfortunately our membership program is not yet available for donors outside North America.
