November 4, 2008 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Norma McCorvey, formerly known as the “Jane Roe” of Roe v. Wade, has released a video with the Catholic News Agency asking American voters to support the presidential candidate who would appoint pro-life Supreme Court justices.

McCorvey, whose Supreme Court victory legalized abortion and became the cornerstone of “abortion rights,” experienced a conversion in 1995 and now battles to reverse the decision as a pro-life Catholic.

“On November 4th, we will have the last chance in a generation to reverse Roe,” says McCorvey.  “One vote, your vote, could determine who the next Supreme Court justice will be.”

In the event of a vacancy in the Supreme Court, McCorvey explains, the next president could appoint a pro-life judge – creating a pro-life majority in the Supreme Court that could strike down Roe v. Wade.  However, the possibility depends on whether the candidate elected to office is for or against the cause of life.

McCorvey therefore urges voters to study the records of this year’s presidential candidates on abortion before casting their vote, and to sign a pledge to legislators available at justonejudge.com.

“We each have one vote: will yours be the one to end Roe?” she asks.
