TOKYO, July 10, 2003 (LifeSiteNews.com) A Japanese law which received unanimous approval Thursday allows persons who have undergone sex-change operations to alter their official identity documentation switching sexes.
Conditions on the alteration include diagnoses by two doctors of gender identity disorder, applicants must be at least 20 years of age, single and have no children.
