(LifeSiteNews) — YouTuber Jesse Ridgway is again sparking outrage over his decision to abort his child with Down syndrome, this time for saying that he is “normal,” unlike the baby that he and his wife had killed in the womb.
“Of course I’m glad my dad didn’t f–ing terminate me, but I’m normal,” Ridgway said at the end of a recent stream on YouTube.
The shocking, callous statement prompted new indignation online, with commenters slamming Ridgway’s “very sickening” remarks and calling him a “murderer.”
“Eugenics is alive and well,” wrote one user on YouTube.
“As a parent of 2 adult children with learning disabilities, i could NEVER fathom life without them,” another wrote. “SHAME ON YOU.”
Ridgway, whose popular YouTube channel “McJuggerNuggets” has more than 4.3 million followers, has faced intense pushback since announcing last Wednesday that he and his wife aborted their baby due to a diagnosis of Down syndrome.
The YouTuber said that they killed the child because they believed that doing so would be “beneficial for our family” and that they are hoping for “a better outcome” with a future baby.
“As for us, we made a difficult decision that we believe in the long-run will be beneficial for our family. Thankfully, we had a choice,” he wrote on X.
“It will take a little time to move on, but we are excited to try again in the future and hopefully have a better outcome.”
Ridgway defended the murder of his child by saying that babies with Down syndrome can have heart defects as well as common, non-fatal difficulties such as “hearing challenges,” “vision problems,” and “developmental disabilities.”
He cited other relatively minor potential health issues, including “delayed physical development,” “poor muscle tone,” and “structural issues with face.”
His comments on the Saturday stream further indicate that he had the child aborted due to his perception that the baby was not “normal.”
“I didn’t realize just how rough it is for the child, let alone the family,” Ridgway said on Wednesday, ignoring that an abortion – which violently destroys an unborn baby – is much “rougher” for a child.
Ridgway’s wife was about four months’ pregnant, as she was already two months’ pregnant when they announced the baby in a video on March 29.
By four months, which is in the second trimester, unborn babies can respond to pain, “recoiling and releasing stress hormones into his bloodstream,” according to the Charlotte Lozier Institute.
“In ultrasounds, the baby has been seen smiling as early as 15 weeks, and the number of smiles increase in frequency at 18 weeks. The unborn baby will also grasp objects that come near him using all five fingers,” it adds.
The most common abortion method in the second trimester is horrific dilation and evacuation (D&E) or dismemberment abortion, in which an abortionist tears an unborn baby’s limbs off with a metal clamp, crushes his or her skull and torso, and then removes the remains.

The barbaric procedure entails significant risks to the mother as well, including hemorrhage, uterine perforation, damage to other organs, infection, and more.
Ridgway is from New Jersey, where abortion is legal up to the moment of birth for any reason with virtually no restrictions.
He notably took a much more compassionate approach to his dog, who was diagnosed with “stage 4 kidney disease” last year.
“Here we are…one year later and Jenny is still with us,” he wrote in March. We defied the odds and the doctor’s advice and curated a diet/health plan that has kept her going. Although, I believe our love and her will has been the true secret sauce.”
Ridgway also claimed that up to 90 percent of women have an abortion after receiving a Down syndrome diagnosis, though research has found that the percentage is lower and that prenatal diagnosis reduces the Downs community by about 30 percent in the U.S.
Ridgway later complained about the “depravity of people online” after receiving massive backlash for killing his child, saying that the criticism revealed “a side of humanity that is deeply disturbing.”
His X post from last Wednesday currently has more than 24 million views and 18,000 replies.
