SAN FRANCISCO (LifeSiteNews) — Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone of the Archdiocese of San Francisco wants America to pray a “rosary for peace” today at 12:30 PDT. He will lead one at 12:30 and people can view the livestream here.

“At 12:30 pm on election day, please join me to pray a rosary for peace,” Abp. Cordileone tweeted. “Let us ask Our Lady’s intercession with the Prince of Peace, who suffered much violence for peace in our day, and eternal peace.”

“As Americans participate in the electoral process and with political violence on the rise, we will pray for peace in our country,” the archdiocese wrote on its website. “As part of living the Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary in the Archdiocese, we ask Our Lady’s intercession with the Prince of Peace, who suffered much violence for our own eternal peace.”
