Tomorrow LifeSiteNews begins its second quarterly and necessary fundraising campaign that will last for three weeks.

Many regular supporters undoubtedly have questions about the status of the lawsuit by Fr. Raymond Gravel against LifeSiteNews that we announced on Feb. 15 and which was covered by other news media. I’ll bring you up-to-date on that on Wednesday. The case has barely advanced so far because of several delaying factors, but it is definitely still on-going and a very real threat to LifeSiteNews.

To our new readers, these four times per year campaigns are the overwhelming source of our operating funds. However, our appeals are directed only to those who are able to give or have not yet given in the current campaign, but are intending to do so.

I want to emphasize that this news service is indeed free. Above all, we want you to receive and read our news reports. Donate if you can – many do – but if you cannot, we understand. Please continue to read LifeSiteNews.

We try to make our special campaign letters informative and interesting, and sometimes readers find them especially so. Even if you are not able to make a contribution, you may find some of these special articles well worth reading.

The current campaign is timely, as usual, since there has been a notable decline in the funds available for paying our 13 member staff salaries and numerous other large expenses . When that happens, we turn to you. Please be generous, if at all possible.
